Blood Draw: The hospital's annual blood draw is held in April of each year. Over 2,000 people participate in this week-long event (Monday through Saturday, 8:00 a.m. - Noon). The blood work includes Blood Chemistry, Cardiac Risk Profile, Anemia Check, Blood Sugar Analysis, and Thyroid Check. The special reduced cost for the blood draw is $35. An optional PSA (Prostatic Specific Antigen) test is also available this year for an additional $25. Due to the reduced cost, billing is not available and payment is due at time of service. No appointment is needed, but be sure to abstain from all food and 12 hours prior to the blood draw. Water is allowed and encouraged. Those interested should report to the front entrance of the hospital between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 12:00 noon, Monday through Saturday. |
