Dietary Dietary Department: The Dietary department is staffed with 12 full-time employees and 3 part-time employees. St. Elizabeth has a consulting dietician that comes to the hospital two days a week, generally on Monday and Tuesday. The Dietary department provides nutritious meals for patients, Health Care Center residents and employees. Visitors wishing to share a meal with a family member in the hospital can order a guest tray. Meals are catered for meetings within the hospital such as Board of Directors and Medical Staff meetings. Breakfast is available in the cafeteria Monday through Friday for employees and visitors alike. In addition, St. Elizabeth Health Services Dietary Department has received commendations for their exemplary food and service for the Foundation's Festival of Trees and Annual Golf Tournament.
