Golf Tournament
New this year, we had a longest drive contest -- the winners were Jennifer Watkins and Kyle Goodman. We also, once again, had a contest between businesses with the first place team receiving a traveling trophy for their place of business. The first place business this year was Ne-Hi Enterprises, who received a traveling trophy for their place of business. The first place overall went to the Jody Steward team; second place went to the Jim Grove team; and there was a 3-way tie for third place that went to the teams of Mark DeLong, Randy Moffit, and Greg Pointer. The 2007 tournament will be, once again, a 4-person scramble that will include18 holes of golf; a sandwich buffet lunch, a barbeque steak dinner, a silent auction, and a minor and major raffle. The Foundation's Annual Golf Tournament
was held on Saturday, August 21. The tournament had 118 golfers
who enjoyed a sunny, exciting
day of golf, with another 30-40 joining the golfers for a barbeque steak dinner.
The tournament raised almost $13,500 to go toward the Foundation to be used for
much needed hospital equipment.
