Intensive Care Saint Alphonsus Medical Center - Baker City's Intensive Care Unit has four beds designed for care of the critically ill patient. Our staff is prepared to stabilize and treat a wide variety of medical and post-surgical maladies under the direction of our primary care physicians. Our ICU nurses also are trained to monitor the additional patients in the hospital who are being observed by telemetry for cardiac problems. Saint Alphonsus Medical Center - Baker City maintains a close relationship with several larger tertiary hospitals for specialty services which facilitates our ability to provide high quality treatment here and rapidly arrange transfer when appropriate. |
