Laboratory Services The clinical laboratory provides 24-hour, 7 day-a-week coverage for Saint Alphonsus Medical Center - Baker City. Both inpatient and outpatient services are available to Baker City and surrounding area physicians. Using state-of-the-art equipment, testing is available in hematology, coagulation, chemistry, urology, immunology, immunohematology and microbiology. The laboratory is managed by Treasure Valley Laboratory, Inc., a full-service medical laboratory that has provided services to physicians in Oregon, Washington and Idaho for several years. The laboratory has an ongoing commitment to the highest standards in all phases of specimen collection, handling and testing as well as customer relations. TVL and the Saint Alphonsus Medical Center - Baker City laboratory are certified at the national and state levels in high-complexity testing.
